New Mums Support Group Guidelines

In order to help keep everyone safe, within the limitations of the current situation, we need to follow these guidelines:

Attendees need to book a place in advance via bit.ly/NewMumsSupport We are only allowed to take 15 adults so it will be on a first come first served basis. Maximum 2 adults and 2 children per family but please get in touch via admin@wottonbaptist.org.uk if your circumstances are different.

Please don’t book if you or anyone you live with has any Covid symptoms or are self-isolating.

Those in the vulnerable category understand that the Government encourages them to stay at home as much as possible, and that coming to the group is entirely at their discretion. We recommend asking family members for advice.

All adults will need to follow social distancing guidelines i.e. remaining 2m+ distant from everyone present other than those from their own household/support bubble, and they will need to follow signs and directions from the group leaders at all times.  This is particularly important when arriving/departing. Under 2s are not expected to socially distance.

Everyone will be asked to use hand sanitiser on arrival and departure. This will be provided or you are welcome to bring your own.

Adults are required to wear face masks for the duration of the group (unless there is a good reason not to).

All attendees contact details collected on the booking form will be kept for 21 days and supplied to NHS Test and Trace if required.  Anybody attending who hasn’t booked in advance will be asked to sign in when they arrive.

Children will be under the immediate supervision of their parents at all times. You may bring your own toys for them to use or use those provided (which will be cleaned and quarantined afterwards).

Attendees may bring their own drinks and snacks as unfortunately no refreshments can be served. Anything brought to the premises, including rubbish should be taken home once the group is finished.

Optional things to bring: hand-sanitiser, tissues, drink, cushion (if you will find sitting on a plastic chair uncomfortable), warm jumper/coat as windows/doors will need to be open for ventilation.

Please use the toilet before you come to avoid using the church toilets (although these will be available for emergencies/nappy changes!).

Please don’t lift share with others not from your household/support bubble.

If any attendee, or member of their household, develops COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days of attending the group, please inform the church straightaway (admin@wottonbaptist.org.uk).

We look forward to meeting you and your little ones!
